Where I Blog - Visual FBFF

Miss Vinyl Ahoy a member of FBFF asked fellow bloggers to show a visual picture of where they blog. I kind of like the idea, because it gives our readers the chance of getting to know where the articles or posts they read were prepared.
My is posts are prepared at my computer desk and that's where I do all my bloggings, read and reply  my mails. It's not too organised though and I decided not to tidy up the table/desk before taking the pictures. The extra thing I did was to place a bottle/feeder on the desk to show that I am a mom blogger.
These are the pictures.

Here is a linky list of all the bloggers that participated. Just check it out and see where all their blogging things go down.

Where do you blog?

Inspirational Afro Hair Styles (Fashion Friday).

There are so many beautiful things about Summer. It makes me to jump out of my shell. I think I'm more bold and confident in summer when it comes to trying out new/extravagant things (that's just the summer spirit). I hardly wear protective hair styles in Summer but this time, I had to because I was on vacation and I needed something that would be easily manageable.
This is the hair style I'm currently wearing. I've had it on for 4 weeks and I have 2 more weeks to go. I can't wait to take it out and rock some of these Inspirational Afro Hair Styles before summer kisses goodbye. I'll sure post some of my pictures so you can see my new look/s.

Here are some Inspirational Afro Hair Styles I'll be trying out.

So, which style do you want me to rock? Say your mind.

INTERNATIONAL DAY

One of the things that keep me going in my journey as an Expat Woman is associating myself with the right set of people. Belonging to a community as I mentioned on Tips for Expat Women is a good way to come in contact with the local citizens and Expat Women and also helps you to exchange tips on living in a new country.
Seeing these women of different shapes, sizes, colours, cultures and hearing their motivational and success stories encourages me a lot. I'm a member of Gospel Forum which is an international living church here in Germany. Over 4,000 visitors come from near and far to attend our different services regularly each weekend.
Last Sunday was our International Day. This programme is held every year to recognise all the international members of the church and their countries. Most countries all over the world are represented and on that day, foreigners are treated kings and queens (just like any other day). Gospel Forum International Day is a colourful event. Members are dressed in their native/traditional attires and some there are some cultural presentations. After the service, different countries have
stands where they show case their traditional foods and specialities.
Here are some pictures from the International Day 2011.

Babybond Nursing Cover - Product Review/Giveaway Contest. Ends 7/21

An expectant mother would always count down to the day she will joyfully hold her little cutie in her arms. She can't wait for that first connection. It's a very special moment between mother and child. After those first intimate moments, breastfeeding creates another opportunity for mother and her baby to really bond. This is a time for special connections and nourishment. We all know the importance of breastfeeding. It is said that breast milk is the healthiest form of milk for babies and the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) emphasize the value of breastfeeding for mothers as well as children.
As a mother, I know how frustrating it can be when it comes to breast feeding your baby in public. Doesn't it sound nice that you can now breast feed your baby anywhere irrespective of the environment or mass of people there.
Babybond nursing accessories cover mom not her baby has made breast feeding even more interesting and fun. A mother does not need to run around looking for a hiding place to breast feed her baby neither does she have to cover her baby's face with some sought of cloth in order to maintain privacy. With this wonderful accessory from Babybond, Mom is able to maintain her modesty while baby remains uncovered benefiting from the infinite opportunity to make eye contact, interact, and communicate.
Babybond is made of 100% cotton and is machine wash safe. It also has three elegant models and colours.

I. BabyBond Original is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt.

2. BabyBond Flex is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt.

3. BabyBond Couture is adjustable creating a custom fit as your body changes after baby arrives.
This product is of very high quality with touch of class. Each of them costs 35$. From my honest review, this is a must have. I recommend it for expectant and lactating mothers, for presents/gifts (that would be cherished and well appreciated).
