The current Celebrity-Trend is a real Eye-Catcher!!! The Smokey-eyes has gotten a rival from above. Instead of a thick flourishing eyelashes, they now go for a beautifully trimmed   eyebrows. Maxi or Mini Skirts

One is long and gorgeous, the other is short and smart but I'm always a fan of both. I love skirts, I feel more feminine when I wear them because my everyday life and work calls for pant-suits  and jeans (when I want to dress down).

I like maxi-skirts for the elegance that it adds to my walk - I walk like a queen. Lol

I like rocking my mini/knee-length skirts because they allow my legs to breath (especially in the summer months) and look extra .........

So say your mind. Which look do you prefer and which skirt do you like better. SHORT OR LONG???

Anything orange brightens up my style these days. Weather I'm going formal or dressing down, I always combine my outfits with some orange accessories and girl, I feel like a sunshine!!!

After Birth: Alessandra Ambrosio is Back to Shape

Just weeks after the birth of her son Noah, Alessandra Ambrosio (just like most of the celebrity mommies) has lost almost all the baby-pounds she got during pregnancy. For all the interested Mamas' that want  their slim figure back, her secret is "Yoga and Shopping"!!! Hmmm, I don't know if this will work for me. Like I always say, I'll still find out their secrets.

Nicole Richie has always been looking good especially since she became a mother. I'm loving her black "Maxi-gown", she wears it well with her hair-do. I know that many sassy mommies would wear this and still look descent.Welcome 'back-to-black' Nicole.

Kate Middleton's Eyecatcher Long Gown

I'm not a big fan of too-long gowns but I'm totally loving this turquoise evening gown that Kate Middleton wore to the "London Olympic Gala" concert. She looks absolutely amazing in it and the dress need an Olympic gold medal. 

A closer look at the back shows a beautifully designed see-through lace.  This royal girl knows how to carry what she wears with her charming nature.

I am a Big Fan of Jill Scott!!! I am captivated by her good spirit, her big bright smiles that comes like sunshine. I love her powerful voice and like listening to her music. One more thing I like about her is her  natural hair styles. This woman has rocked Afro Hair styles and has brought so much versatility to it. I find her hair styles inspiring for every natural woman.

There is a radical change in Halle Berry's look. I get easily  bored sticking to one hair style for a long time and that's why  I wear extensions sometimes. But I've known Halle for a long time with a cute short hair style and I loved it. I know we women always want a change in our look from time to time but I hardly knew it was her.

Gwen Stefani is known for her 'Hot-Looks' and she can't stop stepping out with fashion surprises. From the front/back of the Pantsuit, you can see a concealed black side of the singers outfit but the "Elegant-Lady-Pantsuit" immediately changes to "Lady-Weapon" as soon as you look at the sides. 

She looks super sweet but can you brave wearing this?

Have you ever thought of the magic of a sweater on you? Sweaters have the powers to tap into a womans pride and that place inside where she really feels secured. I like how the warm feeling, the body contact, the security and how the soft material of a great sweater can bring out some of a woman's most adorable personality traits. Sweaters are as intriguing to look at as they are comfortable to wear. The sweater is one of my most beloved clothing piece because it carries with it much more than just a style. It enhances the natural beauty of a woman's form. Womens sweaters bring a rich look and feel to any ensemble.  Bring warmth and good look into your closet with fashionable women's sweaters. You can also go a step beyond by choosing something colorful and details like crew-neck, hoodies, long-sleeve, short-sleeve, V-neck,etc.

These days, you can not only find sweaters for just about any occasion but also for any season. I have sweaters designed for warm days like the spring. The materials are simply breathable to allow the light wind to keep us cool. Other things that are taken into account for spring sweaters are the styles, the sleeve length, and the cut that allows the piece to breathe and not to hold in heat all the while looking ravishing.

Here are some reasons why sweaters are necessity:

Kate Middleton Dazzles in a Black Gown (Fashion and Beauty Friday)

I like Kate, and so do many others. She has endeared herself to the public with her style and charm. When it comes to fashion, she rarely disappoints. I've not always been a fan of  'Long Black Dresses/Gowns (I prefer short dresses) but I totally agree with Kate on this. It looks perfect on her and I'm giving her an A+.

A photo of Princess Diana wearing similar gown also came up and she wore it well too.

Pregnancy and High Heels (Fashion and Beauty Friday)

How long can a pregnant woman stand on her tiptoes? Seeing the way some pregnant women (especially the celebrities) rock their high heels, I can't stopping imaging how comfortable it is for them. When I was pregnant, I gave up wearing my high heels at the beginning of my second trimester because I was always loosing balance. Even now, I rarely wear them since I keep on chasing after my active toddlers at every occasion we attend.

Okay, I know that motherhood has made me loose some of my braveness, but below are pictures of some brave celebrities who will not give up their high heels even in the nearest future.

Reasons to Buy Handmade Shoes

I love shoes and I like men who wear good shoes. I've heard people say that "You can know a man's taste by looking at the pair of shoes he is wearing". I don't know how true it is but it made some sense to me. A man's shoes definitely tells a lot about him. My husband happens to be the type that goes for quality and classy shoes but he easily runs out of patience when he doesn't find what he wants. 

One of the things my husband and I share in common is our 'irregular shoe sizes'. Shopping for new shoes can be exhausting because we spend lots of hours visiting different shoe shops and trying out tons of shoes. The problem is always that the fitted ones are not the type of shoes we would want to wear and the ones we really like don't fit. This can be frustrating.

We couldn't be thankful enough since we opted for handmade shoes (especially my husband).  He loves them. Now  he enjoys wearing his shoes without feeling pains and I can now walk well (even in high heels) because I no longer wear those 'ill fitted shoes' that put tremendous stress on my legs. We found out that buying handmade shoes is not a luxury but it's giving your feet the necessity of comfortability, free from pains which usually affects the way you walk and can cause problems to the spine.
