I'm a new follower. I also lived in Germany as an army brat. My parents moved there twice, so I lived there 7 years in all. Because my mom is Austrian and German was in the family, my parents decided that we kids needed to learn the language, so they sent us to the German school and not the American one.

I'm now living in South Africa, also far away from family in the States.
