What do you have to be thankful for? Is it a good home, job, or relationship? Everyone has something to be grateful for. Did you know that recent research is showing a direct relationship between gratitude and better stress management, a stronger immune system, and overall higher quality of life? It seems the Bible gave us a key when it said, "Be thankful in all circumstances."

But do you ever wonder exactly where these good gifts come from? Are they random rewards from the cosmic universe... or could there be a loving God who is purposely giving you good gifts? The Bible confirms the latter. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights." But you may not know about the greatest gift He has given you: the gift of total forgiveness for your sins and eternal life with Him. In fact, that gift was so expensive that He paid for it with the life of His own Son, Jesus.

If you haven't experienced it yet, having your sins forgiven will really give you something to be thankful for -- not just during Thanksgiving, but everyday. Discover how to receive this amazing gift by reading below.

I've had my moments where I was unhappy with a situation or someone. But as I grow older and since I have a son now, I find it so important to step back and look at all the positive things going on...and to be grateful for it. I would hate to take things for granted in life.

It is really important to thank God. Without Him we could not face the challenges of life. I thank God for a wonderful family, friends, providing for me, giving me strength in difficult times etc. Very good post. Truly inspirational. Take care and God Bless Nekky!

My life itself is a thanksgiving. I thank God for my family, friends, relatives, wonderful people around me. I thank Him for giving us good health, good life and always providing for us. I have endless reasons to thank Him.
I'm also thanking God that my readers here have got reasons to thank Him too.

Beautiful thanksgiving prayer. I so much like the paragraph that stated that we don't have to wait for thanksgiving day to be thankful to God. I always thank God for the gift of life. So many bad and evil things are happening in our society and if one survives a day one should give thanks to God. Thanks for sharing with us..
